Dan has 10 years of experience in brand stewardship, design, and marketing and business management, lending him well-earned insight into both creative process and strategic planning. With the company since its inception, he has also forged its reputation in quality digital services. As Managing Partner, Dan drives RFX’s vision of building legendary brands and our core promise of Business Comes First. His love of business and branding ensures our clients’ bottom line and profitability are respected and strengthened at every possible opportunity. 

Bryan McCloskey CAAP  Art Director

For Bryan, art direction and design are things that always came natural to him. In 2003, he finally decided to pursue it for a living after discovering that running a skateboard shop and starting an Indy clothing label weren't going to make him millions. Funny, neither did design (yet!). From print campaigns, websites, packaging, identities and even some creative writing thrown in from time to time, those are a few things that keep him busy. When not designing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 boys (dogs) Maxwell Pug and Samuel Peke. He also enjoys the Philadelphia Eagles and his Xbox360.

Adriana Bernal LGDC  Designer

Seven years ago Adriana made the move to Calgary from Houston, and are we ever glad she did. A native from Colombia, Adriana lends strong design aesthetic, solid production skills, and if you listen closely, a curious Texan flavored Spanish accent to the RFX creative team. Previous exploits have included work for the Calgary Health Region, the University of Calgary, Big Brothers and Big Sisters. When she’s not creating brand masterpieces for clients, she enjoys traveling, photography and dining out.      

Brent Garner  Lead Web Developer

As our all-knowing digital and social media guru, Brent bestows our team with the divine knowledge of the latest web wizardry and trends. He also condescends to our mortal level from time to time to code a mean website. With over 7 years of web experience garnered at Calgary's big name interactive powerhouses, Brent's impressive development portfolio includes University of Calgary, Mercedes Benz, Jugo Juice, Stepper Homes, Silvertip Resort, and the Calgary United Way. With wisdom and power in content management systems and a myriad of other web applications, Brent's humble mission is to empower clients through the web and provide cutting edge digital solutions that better engage end users. 

Angela Waite   Account Manager 

They say you can lead a farm kid to the city but you can’t make them drink. No, that’s not it. You can plop them in the middle of metropolis but can’t make them give up their rural roots. That’s better. And so goes the story for our sunny southwestern Saskatchewanian (say that five times fast) account manager, Angela. Picking up a degree in agriculture before entering the fast times of the marketing world, Angela has worked for agencies and consultants in Saskatchewan and Alberta as an account manager, writer and researcher. In her spare time she can be found taking photographs, planning the next travel adventure and trying to keep up with her two kids.

Jason Klapak  Account Service Specialist

With more than 20 years of experience in a broad range of communications roles, Jason brings his strong attention to detail and passion for effective creative to RFX. He is a flexible communicator whose background includes work in graphic production as well as in marketing and communications. When not challenging the creative motivations of both the external client and internal creative teams to ensure that project messaging is accurate and strong, Jason enjoys spending time with his family and can often be found at the local BMX track doing his best to help his children realize their dreams of Olympic Gold.

Jamie Branagan  Admin Coordinator

Without the likes of Jamie Branagan, all would be chaos and insanity. Not only the friendly voice and warm smile at reception, Jamie spends much of her time taking care of business. Literally. With files and files of office management experience and over 5 years working for municipal governments in water treatment, Jamie keeps the office running smoothly and, er, fluidly.
